The scheduling engine is also used to verify the feasibility of treatment schedules, with respect to the constraints enumerated above, when changes are made. Changes include the posting of actual execution times as well as manual changes made by schedulers.
Finally, we are responsible for the design and implementation of the master scheduling board user interface that schedulers will use to view and manipulate the schedule. The scheduling board consists of various Gantt chart views of the scheduled resources which are synchronized to resource utilization graphs. These two components, working together help the scheduler manage changes to the schedule as well as troubleshoot potential capacity violations.
