New Technology for Problem SolvingThe building blocks of our process are well known and widely accepted in the field of systems integration and software development. We follow an iterative, Unified Process Methodology. The Unified Process is a very robust and effective methodology. It is also widely accepted, which means that a tremendous amount of knowledge capital is invested in it on an ongoing basis and a wealth of collateral and learning is available within the UP community. Our process is model driven. We recognize the power of models to express ideas and organize requirements and we recognize the potential in modeling for forward-engineering and the automation of software development. Our process is test driven. We recognize that testing is the only way to prove that a system does what it is intended to do, and that testing is the only way to ensure that a system still works after changes are introduced. The ability to test a system at will dramatically reduces the risk and cost associated with change.
These building blocks are the critical foundation of our process, but it is how we apply them that yields exceptional results. There are three basic principles that guide our efforts:
