Mark has 12 years of project management and leadership experience in a variety of fields ranging from software development in healthcare, satellite ground-truthing for NASA, forecasting weather and avalanches, heli-ski guiding to captaining offshore racing sailboats. He has received formal training in project management, leadership, and product development and has led teams of over 30 people in high consequence environments. He received a BS and founded the environmental science program at the University of Notre Dame. He received an MS in snow physics from Colorado State University and his research was published in Cold Regions Science and Technology, a peer-reviewed journal. Mark is also a pro-skier and heli-ski guides part-time for Wasatch Powderbird Guides in Snowbird, Utah and for H2O Guides in Valdez, Alaska.
