The manufacturer has implemented this solution to build and ship all of their domestic shipments, consistently achieving an overall direct line-to-shipment loading rate of over 70%. The company was so pleased with the results that they awarded the project team their internal “Innovation Award” for the year.
Recently, the company implemented a new ERP system. During that project, we were asked back to help redevelop and upgrade the Shipment Building Optimizer to fit with their new business environment. The system is in production and continues to provide value to the company by enabling them to do business their way and differentiate themselves from their competitors.
